Dear peasants of MFC

I have already expressed my delight at leaving this horrid place and joining the far more prestigious and luxurious place known as 'Wigan'.

But as ever I couldn't resist undermining you all one more time.

Maybe I forgot I am currently only on loan and effectively still a Middlesbrough player but it is far more likely that I simply do not care.

My constant injuries and excuses were, naturally, your fault.

Middlesbrough did not meet my expectations. Although, I admit I did enjoy rather a lot of 'parmos' last season.

I feel that Wigan is my spiritual home (until my ego becomes too much for yet another manager to handle) and I am glad to be playing with Zaki.

Due to your lack of ambition and failure to recognise my incredible talent, you have lost your best player.
